“Casetta” Farmhouse
La Casetta is a beautiful independent farmhouse made of stones, sourrounded by a private garden of 6.000 square metres.
The location of this farmhouse and its view on Volterra are wonderful.
La Casetta is few kilometres far from the centre of Volterra and you can easily reach this property through an asphalted road.
The farmhouse hasn’t been finished yet: works will finish in Autumn 2010.

The house is divided into 3 floors: the ground floor is a completely independent one-room apartment for guests, with an outside gazebo facing the swimming-pool.
The first floor is divided into living-room, kitchen with a beautiful outside porch, 1 bed-room and 1 bath-room; an inside stair leads to the second floor where you can find 3 bed-rooms and 2 bath-rooms.
This floor can be reached through an outside stone stair too: this thing makes the second floor completely independent in case you wish to transform this farmhouse in a beautiful co-ownership, made of 2 independent apartments.
Each floor has a stone fireplace, ceilings made of woody beams and cotto or made of beautiful vaults of cotto, according to the tradition of Volterra (“Volterrane”).
The property has an entrance made of stones with a wrought iron gate, which leads to the private car parking.
The swimming-pool (which will be built soon) will have an irregular shape and it will enrich the view of the landscape around the house.
